Cleaning the living space
iWave and NuShield use patented needlepoint bipolar ionization technology to create positive and negative ions. When these ions are introduced into the air stream, they attach themselves to particles in the air. This causes the airborne particles to “clump” together through agglomeration, creating larger particles. These larger particles quickly are removed from the breathing zone and are no longer a concern.

Smoke and VOCs
When the ions come in contact with certain VOCs, pollutants, airborne gases and other particles, they band together and become larger so they are more easily captured by your ventilation system’s air filter. Nu-Calgon’s air ionization technology generates the same ions that nature creates with lightening, waterfalls, ocean waves, etc.
